Rate Lock and Confirm
The LOCK_CONFIRM action enables pricing engine integrations to both initiate and confirm a rate lock request in a single operation.
To implement the LOCK_CONFIRM action, the integration sends buySide information in addition to the core LOCK result information described on the Rate Lock page. The buySide object includes some of the same fields as a standard lock request operation. Integrations can either echo back those lock request fields or adjust their values as appropriate while confirming the rate lock. The action also supports delivering other fields into the lock request confirmation, such as profitability information in the form of a ProfitMargin adjustment, to fully specify the rate lock parameters.

The baseRate and buySide fields are required, along with two of lockDate, lockNumberOfDays, and lockExpirationDate. buySide.baseRate is also required. The schema also defines optional sellSide and pricing objects. Comparison information is not part of the LOCK_CONFIRM schema.
